| Welcome to meritbadgeknot.com, the site that celebrates those Boy Scouts who have earned all merit badges possible during their time as a youth scout. Eagle Scout is the highest rank awarded to youth scouts in the Boy Scouts of America. However, while most everyone leaves the program when they are of age with fabulous memories and new skills learned, only a small percentage of all scouts achieve the rank of Eagle Scout. Of that small percentage, there are many that continue providing service and leadership in the program and continue to achieve additional merit badges in skill areas that interest them. Of these scouts, it has been said that fewer than 100 scouts have ever earned all of the merit badges that BSA offers. Until the production of this website, it has been commonly understood that no listing of these scouts exists and that not even BSA has not maintained a list of scouts who have earned all merit badges. If you are one of these scouts (regardless of your age), please submit your name and basic information about your accomplishment and we will post it to this site. And if you know of scouts who have accomplished this, please encourage them to do so, or provide us with their information and we will try to track them down. To submit this information, please e-mail me by clicking here. The information we are looking for is your name, your troop number and city/state of your troop, the year you reached the rank of Eagle Scout and how many merit badges you earned. Feel free to submit as much or as little information as you would like. In an effort to keep this list clean, we may request additional verification information. In conjunction with this registry of outstanding scouts, we have designed and created a beautiful square knot patch for this achievement. This is not an official BSA award. For more information on the design of this knot, please visit the Award Square Knot page. To understand the idea and concept of this knot, please visit the Why Knot? page. UPDATE - We have submitted our proposal to BSA National Council regarding this knot concept. We have modified it to be more universally attractive and more consistent with the current knot program and basic logic. We will continue to update this site as this idea progresses. If you would like a copy of our proposal to BSA for your personal review, please e-mail us and we would be more than happy to share it with you. |
